For years the Master Chef was cooking for all his foodie friends in a town outside of NYC. This super bowl I was lucky to be invited to a party where this Master Chef was co-hosting. The super bowl spread was the best super bowl spread I ever had. They had everything from lobster, blue crab and shrimp cocktail with assorted dipping sauces. A three meat chili that was to die for and some of the best nachos & chicken wings I have ever had. Simple and oh…so… good! We started talking NoOodle and the Master chef told me he was gluten free now for six years. He had given it up to relieve him of a health condition which is now gone thanks to his gluten free diet. I am actually considering going gluten free indefinitely. I feel healthier and to me that is the most important thing. I am also finding great new gluten free substitutes. Check out OceansHalo.com for these far out gluten free seaweed chips. They are low carbs, high protein and a really great substitute for that crunch that only the best of crackers can make.
Today the thought of living a gluten free life is not scary to me. Actually the possibility of being completely gluten free is inspiring.
Have a great night,
